Opened in 1903, the Ramsdell Theatre presents a variety of performances, from the symphony’s concerts to the many productions put on by the resident theatre troupe. The theatre also houses the Manistee Art Institute, which preserves the artistic legacy of the town.

The State Theater
Originally built in 1918, the State Theatre is a restored movie theater that is located on East Front Street in Traverse City, Michigan.

Constructed 1891, the City Opera House was the first building in the Traverse City to be outfitted with electric lights. The now restored Opera House now hosts meetings, dances and much more. Tours of the venue are available through appointment only.
